While she grew up in Pennsylvania, Dr. Lynessa Alonso built her career in the Midwest because she loves living and working in a small town.
Dr. Alonso focuses on keeping children healthy to set them up for long and healthy lives.
"I feel strongly that all children should be fully immunized for their own benefit and the health of the family and community," she said.
Dr. Alonso and her husband, who is also a doctor, have two children.
When she's not working, Dr. Alonso enjoys cooking, gardening, running, biking, kayaking and learning Tae Kwon Do with her son.
