Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center to hold blood drive at OSF HealthCare Holy Family Medical Center

Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) will hold a blood drive from9 a.m. until noon, onWednesday, September 4, 2019in the Wellness Classroom atOSF HealthCare Holy Family Medical Centerin Monmouth. Volunteer blood donors are invited to support the local blood supply by scheduling an appointment to give blood by visitinghttps://www.bloodcenterimpact.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/71521or calling Jadyn Dwyer at (309) 734-3141, ext. 401 (appointments preferred, walk-ins also welcome). Please bring a photo ID for use in donor registration.

Blood donations are often used to help treat patients with cancer, victims of trauma and patients undergoing major surgeries. All persons age 17 and up (or 16, with a signed parental permission form) who weigh at least 110 lbs. and are in general good health meet the basic eligibility requirements for blood donation.
