Should a suspicious area need a closer look, biopsy options include stereotactic breast biopsy and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.

Laboratory Services
The Laboratoryat OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center provides 24/7, 365 days a week state-of-the-art lab services for inpatients, outpatients, local physicians and extended care facilities.
The Lab performs more than 275-thousand stat and routine tests annually, including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Blood Bank, and limited Microbiology and Histology. Our Lab is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and undergoes biannual inspections.
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is our blood supplier, and we transfuse more than 2400 red cell units a year.
