Stroke-OSF Saint Anthony is the first hospital in the Rockford area designated as a certifiedComprehensive Stroke Centerand the first Rockford area hospital to receive reaccreditation as a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
The requirements for this honored designation include:
- The ability to treat large volumes of ALL types of strokes, with EVERY known treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Highly-trained, Highly-specialized staff
- Most advanced imaging capabilities
Demonstration of interdisciplinary stroke care with low procedural complications and favorable patient outcomes.
OSF Headache Centerhelps patients and primary care doctors navigate through multiple resources to assist in diagnosis and treatment of many types of headaches.
OSF Memory Loss Diagnostic Centeris a collaboration with Southern Illinois University and the Illinois Department of Public Health that resulted in the designation of OSF Saint Anthony as the Primary Care Center in Rockford to for patients and their families who are experiencing memory loss.
